The violist Barbara Maurer communicates her experience of many years as a leading performer of advanced contemporary music: The second half of the 20th century was a very prolific time in which a rich palette of new sound phenomena arose. Particularly inventive music is mostly found wherever a composer does not let himself be disturbed by what the performer considers possible.
