George Bizet's famous Carmen Suite, arranged for percussion sextet (with optional piano and double bass) has been arranged by Walter Mertens. This piece includes the Prelude, Entr'acte Act III, Habanera, Entr'acte Act IV, and the Toreador Song. This music is straightforward and not too complicated, suited well for young students or older players who need a chunk of music to play for a gig.
