Piano or painting, you'll have to choose... Well no!

Pam Wedgwood allows you to combine both of them. She was inspired by 14 famous works of art to compose a piece for piano related to each of them. At the center of the album, an A3 poster shows all the paintings that served her creativity (the poster is not stapled): Hokusai's Large Wave, Velasquez' Las Meninas, Gauguin's Fatata te Miti, Caillebotte's Paris Street in Rainy Weather, Van Gogh's Starry Night...

For intermediate level pianists

Pam Wedgwood:

« I've been interested in art since I was a child, and I still love to dabble with watercolours when time and mood allow. But I've particularly always wanted to write a series of pieces that have been inspired be the great works of art that I love. I've relished writing this music that responds to the mood, colour, style, story and even humour behind each painting. I hope you enjoy playing them as much as you enjoy the wonderful art. »
