Description

A complete itinerary of musical activities in an 'Allegretto ma non troppo' progression. Each volume is divided into 5 steps, corresponding to school half-quarters punctuated by holidays; there is a single step for the last quarter. A step systematically consists of 4 lessons and two double-page spreads, one entitled Pour en savoir plus ('To know more'), the other entitled Pause musicale ('Music break').

• A lesson contains all the activities necessary for the course: texts to read, write or sing, sensorial assimilation, imitations of the teacher (an effective technique for tackling certain new things, in particular as regards rhythm), visual memorisation...
• Pour en savoir plus has a wealth of supplementary texts to use in keeping with the class's needs or progress.
• The Pause musicale consists of games that the child will approach with his parents rather than with his teacher; in short, this is holiday homework.
