Listening Matters
Description
Listening Matters offers more than 70 sets of questions on musical perception. These have been designed by two former chief examiners in music for London Examination to help students prepare for the London Qualifications in AS and A-level music. Based on the 51recordings of the Essential Hyperion 2, (two CDs HYP 20), these questions are prefaced with hints, and are graded in difficulty and supplied with model answers. This book can be used for aural practice in the classroom, for support work at home, or for revision prior to the exam. It has been designed Specifically for the revised London (Edexel) music specification first examined in 2001/02 and reflects the styles and types of question that feature in those examinations.
Listening Matters builds upon the reputation of the prize-winning Aural Matters and its companion volume, Aural Matters in Practice, both written by David Bowmann and Paul Terry.
