This new publication contains fourteen magnificent tangos and other characteristic pieces from the Argentinian master of tango nuevo: Astor Piazzolla, skilfully arranged for a selection of solo instruments with piano, at intermediate level. The collection includes extracts from the incidental music to El sueño de una noche de verano (A Midsummer Night's Dream) and Famille d'artistes (Family Troupe), El Viaje (The Journey), and Pedro y Pedro.

This sophisticated collection is suitable for intermediate players, and includes an authentic backing CD which demonstrates each piece with both parts as well as offering the backing track alone.
