Description
The Melodious Etudes for Clarinet are based on the vocalises of Marco Bordogni. These vocalises are considered to be some of the most musically appealing in the vocal repertoire. Brass players are already familiar with these etudes through their use as a staple in the study repertoire of the trombone. It is often referred to as the "Rochut book". This compilation of fifty-four etudes is taken from the best of the Bordogni vocalises. It has been carefully selected to fit the idiosyncrasies of the clarinet and is presented in a pedagogical sequence from easiest keys and rhythms to the more difficult. this collection is certain to become standard teaching material to improve the musicianship of clarinet players the world over.
