This is a similar collection to the original Songs for Little Players, but the music is slightly more advanced. Pieces are written across multiple strings. Eighth notes, dotted notes, and rests are introduced, and there are opportunities for fourth finger, left-hand pizzicato, and new symbols like fermatas and repeats. All of the songs are very recognizable, and are written in Evelyn Avsharian's classic oversized notation. It contains 15 selections and a counting chart that gives phonetic cues for differently valued notes.
