The flamboyant Carillon Festivo was written in 1999 as a recessional voluntary for the wedding of my publisher Andrew Skirrow and his wife, Lucy. Carillon da Festa was written two years later in celebration of a special birthday for my good friend Deborah Venner and is based on the tune "Happy Birthday".
