Description
A wonderful flowing song for SATB and piano, written in 1975 by John Rutter,
based on a song from "As You Like It" by William Shakespeare.
"Blow, Blow, Thou Winter Wind" is taken from his cycle of choral settings "When Icicles Hang",
which feature settings of texts by Campion and Sakespeare.
Rutter has expertly conjured the expressive dancing of the winds and the
ensuing biting cold cycle of choral settings.
